Job description:
The Market Analyst will be responsible for building and implementing customer-focused strategies, programs and capabilities for Canvas Infotech that result in market leadership, customer loyalty and customer satisfaction. Our goals include positioning Canvas Infotech as the state's leading provider of Information Technology Training solutions.
As a Market Analyst, critical focus areas for this position may include but are not restricted to:
Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
Evaluate the financial aspects of product / service development, such as revenue, budgets, expenditures, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
Identify business needs and help define marketing strategies using Micro-strategy Business Intelligence and related analytical methodologies.
Leverage and develop Strategic Alliance partners.
Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services.
Responsible for overseeing entire company’s Marketing budget.
Research and analyze economic trends, buying habits and the demographic characteristics of consumers, their tastes and preferences for company offerings and those of competitors.
Responsible for supporting company’s sales team in increasing business and responsible for designing and coordinating the execution of a business wide implementation.
Create compelling messaging, website content to position the company to win against the competition.
Contributing to continuous growth and market leadership by leveraging quality improvement methodologies.
It is essential that the applicants have teamwork skills and communication skills. Ideal applicants will have experience in the Information Technology, but those without directly related experience will also be considered. Required:
* Must hold an MBA and sound knowledge of Information Technology Sector
* At least 5 years of total work experience
* At least 3 years in Marketing
* At least 2 years in Market Management, Brand Management
* Readiness to travel 10% travel annually
* English: Excellent
Preferred:
* At least 6 months experience in Market analysis, Competitive intelligence
* Basic knowledge in Business/Management
* Basic knowledge in High-technology Industry
