Become a true Scrum practitioner with Canvas InfoTech’s Scrum Product Owner certification. As a Certified Scrum Product Owner, you are on a first-name basis with your users, have mapped their requirements thoroughly, and know that map like the back of your hand. You know the risk and business value in each user story, and are able to effortlessly assemble a backlog the team can implement. You are always available to the team, and constantly meeting with your users, customers, sponsors, and other stakeholders. No problem!
This experiential workshop will equip you with tools to tackle the formidable but rewarding role of Product Owner. You’ll gain real practice in class through hands-on exercises, project simulations and live demonstrations. Our goal is that you leave class with a sense that you’ve not only grasped the concepts, but that you’ve now “done” it.
Certified Scrum Product Owners have been taught the Scrum terminology, practices, and principles that enable them to fulfill the role of Product Owner on a Scrum team. CSPOs are typically the individuals who are closest to the “business side” of the project. They are charged by the organization to “get the product out” and are expected to do the best possible job of satisfying all the stakeholders. CSPOs maintain the product backlog and ensure that everyone knows the priorities.
Taking the CSPO course is the first step on your path of becoming more Agile. To truly master Scrum, experience and continuing education are necessary.

14. What is the difference between CSM and CSPO training?
Both CSM and CSPO certification carry their own value and their own weight, one job can demand you to be CSM versus another one can ask you to be a CSPO. Yes, there is a difference. This is the big question. And, who to better tell us about the courses than the Scrum Alliance itself:
CSM Course and Certification: “Our CSM trainers will teach you what you need to know to fill the role of Scrum Master (or Scrum team member). This course focuses on the basics of the Scrum framework, including team roles, activities, and artifacts, so that you can be an effective member of a Scrum team.”
CSPO Course and Certification: “The CSPO course gives you enough information to understand how Scrum works, but focuses mainly on functioning as the product owner, or customer, for a Scrum team. You will learn about activities such as managing stakeholders, ROI, backlog grooming, creating effective stories, acceptance criteria for stories, defining done, and so on.”
15. Do I have to take both? If yes, which one should I take first?
We would recommend taking both the training one after the other (batch details [schedule & timings available on our website])
16. Can this training be taken online?
No, the training cannot be taken online. Canvas InfoTech and Scrum Alliance believes that understanding Scrum requires a greater level of personal interaction than cannot be delivered in a virtual environment. Our Certified Scrum Master course engage participants in live, interactive learning, free from the obstacles inherent in an online activity.
